A VIEW FROM THE MOUNTAIN
NOVEMBER 2025
The foliage season is over, and as we turn the page to November, my attention turns to the winter season fast approaching. There is already snow on Mt. Washington, and just a matter of time before we experience our first coating of the white stuff. We are finishing up preparing for winter at the Center and on the Mountain. Brian has mowed the orchard and lupine fields and trimmed some of the trails. We finished work on the Lisa Halpin meditation area for the season, and the ski trails await snow cover. Jen successfully sealed the leak in the bathroom ceiling. Susan is back in Florida for the winter.
November 7, Friday 7-9 pm - I will be playing at the Majestic Café in Conway with Randy Ouellette on trumpet and flugel horn, Brian Hathaway on bass, and Jon Deveneau on drums and harmonica. It will be an evening of jazz standards with some blues sprinkled in. This is my last appearance at the cafe this year. The next one will be Friday January 9th. Hope to see you there.
November 10, Monday, 6:30 pm – Reiki Share. If you are looking to relax, recharge and connect with like-minded individuals, this is a warm and welcoming space for you to give and receive Reiki energy in a supportive group setting. This gathering is open to all.
November 17, Monday, 7 pm - Lori will offer her monthly Meditation.
November 20, Thursday, 7pm – Psychic Night. All readers and seekers are welcome.
